We have two amazing waterfalls within walking distance from Encanta la Vida: King Louis and Carbonara Waterfall. 

King Louis is a majestic high gorgeous cascade that drops steeply from a rainforest covered hill with a large shallow pool below surrounded by moss and lush greenery. Carbonera Waterfall is a smaller, but equally beautiful waterfall that has a deeper pool for swimming. 

On this rainforest river hike, you will get to explore one of the country’s most splendid natural treasures; it’s waterfalls. Along the journey, you will be immersed in lush jungle and untouched coastlines. The hike winds through secondary and primary rainforests and along riverbeds, which require some navigating of slippery terrain en route to the waterfalls. Gustavo will share his knowledge of this area and point out iconic species such as sloths, monkeys, and many birds including frogts and reptiles. 

The jounrye will end at a breathtaking waterfall – a true oasis surrounded by vibrant vegetation.
