Jungle Forest Bathing
A Mindful Walk to Awaken the Senses
Forest Bathing is a gentle walking meditation inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “taking in the forest atmosphere.” Originating in Japan in the 1980s, this practice was developed as a way to counter stress and restore balance by consciously immersing the senses in nature.
Our experience begins with a seated meditation on the garden yoga deck, offering space to arrive, settle, and set a personal intention. From there, you’ll be guided on a slow, meditative stroll through the forest and out toward the ocean.
Along the way, awareness is gently directed to sight, sound, scent, and sensation. Simple, playful invitations help awaken curiosity and deepen your connection with the natural world around you.
By slowing down and fully meeting the present moment, you enter nature’s restorative field—supporting relaxation, uplifting mood, calming the nervous system, and cultivating a deep sense of well-being and belonging.
