February 23 - March 2, 2025
This is Julie’s 20th retreat to the Osa!
Julie’s annual Mythic Retreat is not a typical retreat – it’s a deep immersion into all facets of yoga practice: daily asana, meditation, mantra, and exploration of the meaningful stories, myths, and symbols of yoga.
This retreat is a chance to revitalize your routine, reestablish a connection to the power of regular practice, and have an adventure in one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse places on the planet.
You’ll get expert attention from Julie in two daily classes, morning and evening, each uniquely themed and curated to the group in her signature style of weaving themes into intelligent sequences.
The jungle of the Osa is its own mythic experience with the background of the roaring sea, and a perfect setting for diving deep into your yoga practice with monkeys, blue morphos and toucans as daily visitors.
In between classes you’ll have the freedom to explore Matapalo with easy to reach waterfall and jungle hikes, options for SUP or surfing, massage, or hanging on the most exquisite beaches you’ve ever seen.
Martina’s on Friday’s is always a special treat for the very best of jungle living. This retreat is so good and the Osa is so special that there’s always a bunch of repeaters!
Approximate daily schedule:
Dinner
Midweek will include an optional boat ride on the Golfo Dulce, and no evening practice. Julie’s retreats are always all levels, anyone is welcome!
