Rejuvenate in the Jungle - Embodied Yoga Retreat
Escape the lull of winter to a jungle beach paradise with Ahmed Soliman, an experienced registered yoga teacher (ERYT) and wildlife biologist. This is a chance to dive deep and understand your body, heart, mind and soul. Learn how through the practice of yoga, you can master yourself.
Ahmed is leading his fifth retreat at the beautiful Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, where his yoga teaching experience blends seamlessly with his wildlife biology background.
This week-long immersion is for yogis at every level — the experienced yogi looking to deepen their practice; the beginner yogi looking for a teacher to breakdown myths and make the practice accessible; and the newly-trained teacher seeking a well of understanding to offer students.
Through the study of fragile ecosystems, Ahmed learned quickly that balance is essential for any community — human or wild, and is so honored to share this wondrous experience with you.
Ahmed began his professional life as a wildlife biologist and environmental scientist.
Serving the natural environment and helping to recover endangered species is a concept that he carries daily into his yogic lifestyle. Both in teaching and in practice, he seeks to serve his communities in a way that supports strength, healing, and sustainability.
He also brings his science background to his students through yoga retreats in locations that provide the incomparable forces of nature as a backdrop to their yoga journeys.
Ahmed is a continuing student of Iyengar yoga, vinyasa, and meditation, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-200) and a Registered Yoga School (RYS-200) yoga alliance certified teacher with additional specialized trainings in anatomy, meditation, and yoga nidra.
